Spring is just around the corner, and this weight loss trick can help give you that extra boost you need to reach your health and fitness goals. Apple cider vinegar and grapefruit have great health and weight loss benefits! This weight loss drink is an essential part of my morning health regimen, but to really maximize your results, feel free to drink it prior to each meal!

Both apple cider vinegar and grapefruit juice are natural appetite suppressants to keep cravings at a minimum. Apple cider vinegar can also maximize your fitness goals. With its’ rich potassium levels, probiotics and acidity, apple cider vinegar gives your body the proper nutrients for increased energy levels and reduced muscle cramping.

Grapefruit is packed with vitamin C & A, antioxidants, and phytonutrients like naringenin. Vitamin C promotes fat burning; studies actually show that people with sufficient vitamin C actually burn 30% more fat during exercise than those with depleted levels. Naringenin aids your body by fighting cancer causing free-radicals, is an anti-inflammatory, a carbohydrate metabolism promoter, and provides immune support. Also, when consumed prior to a meal, grapefruit can improve your body’s insulin resistance.

Recipe:

  • 8 oz. Fresh Grapefruit Juice
  • 2 tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tsp. Raw, Organic Honey  (optional to add sweetness)
